Port Brewing – Christmas In July

John Schulz and I made it out to Port Brewing’s Christmas In July party last weekend. As you can see, we took photos of drunk people with Santa Claus. Much to my disappointment, Santa stayed sober.

Good beer was enjoyed

The brew staff was friendly

The barmaids were cute.

Some people brought their kids to a party in a brewery..

There was lots of screaming

And toys and money were donated to The Marine’s Toys for Tots foundation.

Phonography

I’m taking part in this group art show opening tonight at Blind Lady Ale House. I’m pretty stoked to be in there, there’s some sharp shooters on that list to be sure. All the pictures in this show were made with camera phones and all proceeds benefit Doctors Without Borders for Haiti relief.  Come on down. Have a pint and some food and see some photos.

Ballast Point

A picture I made while working with John Schulz at Ballast Point Brewing and Spirits here in San Diego is gracing the front page of their new brochure. If you any kind of beer fan at all, I’m sure you’ve tried their beers. If not, try one and become an instant beer fan. Cheers!

Ruff Life

The San Diego Magazine cover story, photographed by yours truly, on the local beer scene is out on the stands this month. The plethora of great breweries and beer bars make San Diego  a beer lover’s paradise. I must say, there’s worse ways to make a living that hanging out in bars and breweries, drinking beer and taking pictures. A big thanks to everyone and the mag, the watering holes, and to the brewers. Cheers!

Lost Abbey

Today I helped out my friend and fellow photog John Schulz on a shoot he was doing at The Lost Abbey Brewery here in town. There’s worse ways to spend a Saturday the hanging out in a brewery drinking free beer. Lost Abbey was having a special bottle release of their Angle’s Share Belgian style beer. In between helping John with his shoot I was able to snap a few shots of my own. Cheers!
